Continuing Education Credit:

The following classroom training courses are approved by the Wyoming Department of Fire Prevention and Electrical Safety to fulfill your 16 hours of classroom training requirements: NFPA 70, National Electrical Code (NEC) (2017) Essentials 3-day Classroom Training (21 hours or 2.1 CEUs) and NFPA 70E, Electrical Safety in the Workplace (2018) 2-day Classroom Training (14 hours or 14 CEUs).

The Wyoming Department of Fire Prevention and Electrical Safety requires sixteen (16) hours of training in the National Electrical Code® or in advances in the electrical industry meeting the criteria established by the board on or before the date that his/her license expires for a Journeyman or Master Electrician License. At least eight (8) of the required sixteen (16) hours of training must cover the National Electrical Code. The State of Wyoming has adopted the current National Electrical Code.
