    The Water-Based Systems Designer Workshop is an essential course for water-based systems professionals with entry-level to mid-level experience looking to take their careers to the next level. This in-depth, classroom training helps provide the unique skills and understanding of complex theories necessary for designing, preparing, reviewing, and submitting layouts for fire sprinkler systems in accordance with the latest NFPA codes and standards.

    The course is based on the 2019 edition of NFPA 13, Standard for the Installation of Sprinkler Systems, and additional standards, including:

    • NFPA 13R, Standard for the Installation of Sprinkler Systems in Low-Rise Residential Occupancies
    • NFPA 13D, Standard for the Installation of Sprinkler Systems in One- and Two-Family Dwellings and Manufactured Homes
    • NFPA 20, Standard for the Installation of Stationary Pumps for Fire Protection
    • NFPA 22, Standard for Water Tanks for Private Fire Protection
