The Special Suppression Systems Online Training provides a review of the properties, extinguishing characteristics, and limitations of special suppression agents, reinforcing the learning of content from the Fire Protection Handbook® (FPH). Participants also review the features and characteristics of special hazards as they relate to the use of gaseous fire-extinguishing agents. The discussion concludes with a summary of the maintenance and inspection requirements for these specialized suppression systems.
