This all-in-one Electrical Online Continuing Education program is customized to satisfy the content and learning hours mandated in your state. The following license types are required:
- For electrical contractors (for triennial license renewal), as listed in section 13:31-5.5: Upon triennial license renewal, a qualified journeyman electrician shall attest that he or she has completed 10 credit hours of continuing education on the most recent edition of the National Electrical Code.
- For electrical contractors (for triennial license renewal), as listed in section 13:31-1.7. Each applicant for triennial license renewal shall be required to complete a minimum of 34 credit hours of continuing education consisting of: Minimum (10) hour course relating to the most recent edition of the National Electrical Code, 9 hours of which shall pertain to the code and 1 hour of which shall pertain to applicable state statutes and rules, and the remaining balance of continuing education credits in the following areas: installation, erection, repair or alteration of electrical equipment for the generation, transmission or utilization of electrical energy; transmission or utilization of electrical energy; job estimating, management and business practices; supervisory responsibilities as set forth in N.J.A.C. 13: 31 - 3.4; and any other subjects relevant to electrical contracting and electrical construction.

Continuing Education Credit:

The New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs licenses and regulates electrical contractors; registers qualified journeyman electricians; and is responsible for granting exemptions from licensure to persons or businesses engaged in telecommunications wiring in New Jersey. Based on New Jersey Administrative Code Title 13 Chapter 31, continuing education training is required as follows:
- For electrical contractors (for triennial license renewal), as listed in section 13:31-5.5:
- Upon triennial license renewal, a qualified journeyman electrician shall attest that he or she has completed 10 credit hours of continuing education on the most current edition of the National Electrical Code.
