Get up to date by gaining 4 hours of training delivered in 14 targeted modules. Four assessments throughout the series need to be completed successfully to earn CEUs and access your Certificate of Completion.
The series is developed by NFPA and fulfills ASSE requirements for a refresher course as part of recertification to the 2021 edition of NFPA 99.
New in 2021
The latest edition of NFPA 99, Health Care Facilities Code, introduces:
- Responsible facility authority—a new designated role that is responsible for all work involving medical gas and vacuum systems
- Guidance on what to do when clinical spaces with medical gases outlets are converted to nonclinical spaces
- New requirements for the installation and maintenance of hybrid supply systems
Upon completion of the series you should be able to:
- Locate provisions for medical gas and vacuum systems and components as they relate to risk assessment level
- Use requirements from NFPA 99 in the installation, maintenance, and inspection of medical gas systems
- Analyze components of medical gas and vacuum installations to create and maintain safe environments for patients dependent on medical gas systems
