First, take the General Requirements Online Training Course for a solid introduction into the scope and structure of NFPA 99. Then, choose from courses geared toward the specific responsibilities of facility managers, medical gas and vacuum system designers and engineers, and electrical system designers and engineers. All courses offer a rich, interactive training experience, with exercises and job aids that allow practice and reinforce learning, so you're ready to apply concepts on the job. Each one-hour course ends with an exam to test your knowledge.
Upon completion of the series you should be able to:
- Describe the scope and structure of NFPA 99
- Identify risk assessment requirements outlined in Chapter 4
- Describe the application of NFPA 99requirements to existing facilities
- Identify gas and vacuum system requirements outlined in Chapter 5
- Describe the different branches of the Essential Electrical System
