Take this online course to improve your ability to use NFPA 80: Standard for Fire Doors and Other Opening Protectives to locate, interpret, and correctly identify and apply the requirements for the inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire door assemblies. This one-hour self-paced module is based on the 2016 edition of NFPA 80.
Upon completion you should be able to:
- Locate the Inspection, testing and maintenance requirements, including frequency and documentation for fire door assemblies
- Identify the individual inspection components
- Describe the roles and responsibilities for building owners, Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs), and fire door inspectors as they relate to NFPA 80.
