    NFPA 1125: Code for the Manufacture of Model Rocket and High Power Rocket Motors provides requirements for safety in the manufacture of model and high power rocket motors, and helps users ensure the reliability of rocket motors and motor-reloading kits and their components.

    Changes in the 2017 edition include:

    • An added requirement mandating that instructions provided to the consumer must be part of the overall set of materials reviewed by the testing organization. This change helps ensure consumers are provided with accurate safety information.
    • Additional changes clarify code requirements, so manufacturers and users understand how and why NFPA 1125 helps safeguard against injury and damage.
    • This edition of the Standard removes the requirement for automated sprinkler systems in mixing rooms.
