Working at your own pace, you'll learn about the Code's intent and organization, including core chapters, occupancy chapters, and annexes. Understand how requirements apply to new and existing occupancies, how occupancies are classified, and how to determine hazards of contents. Interactive exercises, short videos, and job aids help reinforce learning and provide vital takeaways for use on the job. The one-hour course ends with an exam to test your knowledge.
Upon completion you should be able to:
- Explain the organization of the 2018 edition of NFPA 101 and key Code concepts
- Describe Code applicability for new and existing occupancies
