Take this Life Safety Code® self-guided online training course to understand the 2018 NFPA 101 requirements for illumination, emergency lighting, and egress markings in new and existing occupancies -- including special requirements for buildings with high hazard contents, such as boiler rooms or rooms with mechanical equipment. Interactive exercises, and job aids help reinforce learning and provide vital takeaways for use on the job. The one-hour course ends with an exam to test your knowledge.
Upon completion you should be able to:
- Determine requirements for illumination, emergency lighting, and egress markings
- Determine special means of egress requirements in areas with high hazard contents
