The CFI-I Practice Exam offers the flexibility to experience test questions in a variety of ways to prepare for the exam, including short practice tests, topic-based practice tests, and a full-length timed exam to simulate sitting for the actual CFI-I exam.

Test your knowledge and readiness for the Certified Fire Inspector I (CFI-I) exam with the flexible new practice test format from NFPA®.

For professionals ranging from fire service members and code officials to safety consultants and facility managers, the CFI-I is an essential credential demonstrating your proficiency in inspecting buildings to verify that all federal, state, and local fire and life safety regulations are being followed and helping to ensure that all fire protection systems are operationally ready.

The CFI-I Practice Exam delivers a robust test preparation program—appropriate for either the 2018 code set or the 2021 code set—that lets you experience questions in a variety of ways.

You get 180 days of unlimited access to:

    • Quick practice tests offering 15 to 20 randomized questions with the option of choosing content covering all subject areas or focused on the domains where you need to improve. With 400 questions in the pool, you may never see the same one twice!
    • Full practice exams mirroring the real CFI-I exam with four 100-question pools chosen at random each time you take the test. The timed format simulates the actual four-hour exam, including the same question types, content, weighting, and difficulty.

The online CFI-I Practice Exam is a powerful tool for helping prep for the exam.

This robust practice program provides a blend of retired questions as well as newly written questions meeting the precise specifications of the CFI-I exam. Results are broken out by domain to assist in gauging your potential strengths and weaknesses in subject categories so you can tailor your course of study and strategy for success. When taking quick practice tests, you will receive feedback indicating whether you answered each question correctly or incorrectly, along with the content domain from which the question was pulled. The feedback does not include full explanations of why an answer is correct or incorrect but does indicate the appropriate reference. A special bonus feature offers three expert tip videos that benefit you in studying and preparing for your certification.

Be proactive in preparing to pass the CFI-I exam to demonstrate credibility and competency in your field.

The CFI-I Practice Exam is a vital part of the Certified Fire Inspector I Learning Path, which offers a variety of tools and opportunities to help improve your knowledge of the structure and substance of CFI-I content and preparedness to sit for the exam.
