CFI-I Fire Alarm Systems Online Training provides learners with experience navigating NFPA 72®, National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code®, to answer certification exam questions related to fire detection and alarm systems. This course also provides an overview of core concepts and operational readiness related to fire detection and alarm systems.
Upon completion you should be able to:
- Explain the scope of NFPA 72
- Use methods to effectively navigate NFPA 72
- Describe the operation and basic components of a fire detection and alarm system, and associated devices
- Identify the codes and standards applicable to the installation, maintenance, and testing of fire detection and alarm systems
- Recognize problems related to the operational readiness of fire detection and alarm systems
