CFI-I Authority and Administration Online Training provides candidates with experience navigating NFPA 1, Fire Code, to learn core concepts and answer questions related to authority, administration, and legal proceedings.
Upon completion you should be able to:
- Describe policies and procedures related to the permit process, plan reviews, inspections, complaints, and reports
- Define the types of legal proceedings
- Describe legal precedence pertaining to evidence
- Differentiate facts from opinions in a legal proceeding
Who Will Benefit:
Anyone with the roles and responsibilities of Fire Inspector I—particularly those planning to take the CFI-I certification examination, as well as fire service professionals, code officials, AHJs, insurance professionals, and others expected to maintain this certification as part of their employment requirements.
Continuing Education Credit:
